In other big news I got offered a place at Kings College today, to begin a PGCE course this September. I'm totally shocked, I can't believe in the pieces are starting to fall into place. This year is certainly going to be an interesting one!
Thats about all folks, except to say thanks again to everyone at work for the Euros, I'm sure they'll help me and Dani no end over the coming weeks. See you all on the other side :-)

Thankyou very much to those of you that made it out on Saturday, Dani and I had a fantastic night and I hope you did too! Apologies to everyone from work for our rather late arrival . . better late than never I hope. Anyway this is only a quick one to let you know some of the pictures are up, there's quite a few more to follow, so keep checking back.

Hello my International Friends

I have international visitors!! Hello one and all - why not sign up and join this fine website! So I may be limited to just Poland, Germany and the US but word is spreading people!! Just you wait!! 
OK thats about it again. Not much to say - tweaked the photo stuff a bit more so it should finally work properly!! I don't think I'm going to do anything else for fear of breaking it just before we go - so all those improvements to your member accounts will have to go on hold! 2 weeks today and we'll be in Rome! How scary is that!

Its a very little piece of news really but in celebration of being back on Google, I added a couple of improvements to the photo album functionality. Basically I re-wrote it so now it should be much quicker to load . . . ok thats about it really - I said it was only a little piece of news! I also updated the raw image link to load photos in a new window so now you should be able to view them properly without being nested inside the website layout.
How very dull I hear you cry, ah well . . . less than 3 weeks to go!!!!

Back on Google

We're back on google, the mighty google engine has finally caved in to all my submission requests. Sadly it has to be a pretty specific search of mybigadventures to find us, but nevertheless its the beginning of greater things I'm sure!
It doesn't look like theres going to be many more updates now before we go mostly as I'm a bit reluctant to make any changes incase I break something! In other news, I've been checking out my statistics and word is spreading I have Australian and German visitors (Hello Felipe and Horst). One day someone that doesn't know me might stumble across it and find it mildly interesting right . . ?
Anyone else thats taking a look at this and still hasn't joined - do so now - just click join in the top right corner. Theres lots of advantages to being a member - you'll be able to comment on all of the photos and blogs and such like, and you'll recieve email updates as we make our way around over the next few months. OK thats all folks, I'll try and fit in a couple more posts before we head off into the sunset!
